Christ died on a cross for sinners because GOD HATES SIN and GOD MUST PUNISH SIN
Christ, who had no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21) was crucified to pay the price for our sins. While dying on the cross, Jesus faced the holy wrath of God that we deserved. He suffered the consequences for our sin. As He died on the cross, Jesus purchased for us “ ... redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace…”(Ephesians 1:7) Jesus promised in His word: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
Are we into the battle? Are we fighting it out? Are we moving forward? Are we resisting every advance of the enemy? Are we prepared to die for the Master if needs be? Christ and His apostles and the prophets and the godly of all ages have set us an example of being willing to die than give up.

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
